Junqi Ling Introduction

Professor Junqi Ling is a Level Two Professor of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics and a Level One Chief Physician at the Guanghua School of Stomatology, Sun Yat-sen University. She is also a doctoral supervisor. Currently, She serves as the Honorary Dean of the Affiliated Stomatological Hospital of the Guanghua School of Stomatology, Sun Yat-sen University, Director of the Institute of Stomatology, Sun Yat-sen University, Fellow of the International College of Dentists (ICD), Vice President of the Chinese Stomatological Association, Honorary Chairman of the Specialty Committee of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics of the Chinese Stomatological Association, Honorary Chairman of the Oral Medical Services Branch of the Chinese Stomatological Association, and Honorary President of the Guangdong Provincial Stomatological Association. Her main research interests include the etiology and treatment of dental caries, pulpal diseases, and periapical diseases, as well as molecular biology and tissue engineering research in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics. She has led 23 national and provincial-level research projects and has won over 10 awards, including the first prize of the Chinese Stomatological Association Science and Technology Award and the first prize of Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Achievement Award. She has published over 440 papers, with more than 110 of them indexed by SCI. Since 2014, she has been repeatedly selected as a highly cited researcher in Dentistry by Elsevier. She is the chief editor of several books including "Endodontics," "Treatment of Periapical Diseases," "Microscopic Endodontics," "Clinical Training Course of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics," "Young Permanent Tooth Periapical Diseases," "Clinical Training Materials for Dental Interns (Oral Medicine Volume)," and "Clinical Cases of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics." She also serves as the deputy editor of the "Chinese Stomatology Yearbook" and has contributed to more than 20 monographs and national health commission planning textbooks. She has supervised 9 postdoctoral fellows, 50 doctoral students, and 68 master's students. Since 1995, she has enjoyed special government allowances from the State Council of China. She has received the Sixth Chinese Physician Award from the Chinese Medical Association and the National Famous Physician Award.
