Qianming Chen is a chief physician, a professor, and a doctoral supervisor. Dr. Chen is the Director of Stomatology Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine, the Dean of the School of Stomatology, Zhejiang University School of Medicine, a Doctor of Stomatology and a Postdoctoral Fellow in Genetics. He won a special government allowance by the State Council of PRC and was a Qiushi Distinguished Professor at Zhejiang University, the Vice President of the Chinese Stomatological Association, the 2^nd Director of the Stomatology Scientific Research Management Branch of the Chinese Stomatological Association, the 5^th Director of the Oral Mucosal Professional Committee of the Chinese Stomatological Association and the Associate Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Prevention and Treatment for Stomatological Diseases.

　　Dr. Chen is mainly engaged in the molecular pathogenesis and precise prevention and treatment of oral diseases, with research focusing on the etiology and prevention of oral medical diseases and oral mucosal diseases, the association between oral diseases and systemic diseases, and the clinical diagnosis and treatment of oral diseases.　

　　The responsibility of the Vice Editor-in-Chief is to assist the Editor-in-Chief in their work, aid with topic selection planning, and improve the journal’s overall quality.
